Peterson, Berk & Cross, S.C. paralegal, Molly Steiner, has motorsports in her blood. She has been involved in demolition derbies for half of her life. Molly grew up in a small community with a dad and brother who made demolition derbies a family tradition. As a child, she watched them participate in this unique motorsport, and it wasn’t long before she became hooked as well.
This fall Molly had the opportunity to be involved in one of her favorite derby events. The Paws for a Cause Charity Demolition Derby attracts participants and spectators from all over the state and beyond. The event raises money to be donated to a local Humane Society. Molly adopted her beloved cat from the Human Society several years ago, so she is happy that she can give back to this great organization.
Peterson, Berk & Cross was happy to sponsor Molly’s car in this derby event this year. Molly loves feeling the adrenaline rush that she only gets from driving in a demolition derby. She feels empowered to be one of the few female drivers in a male dominated sport. Molly is also happy to make her biggest supporters, her dad and her brother, proud while competing in the motorsport they all love.
