The Netflix series Making a Murderer has generated much interest and discussion on social media and in the press. Recently, a federal magistrate issued a 91-page decision overturning the conviction of Brendan Dassey and finding that Dassey's confession was illegally obtained in violation of his constitutional rights. Attorney Avi Berk was interviewed about that ruling on local ABC and NBC television stations, WHBY radio, and was also interviewed by CBS national radio out of Los Angeles. For many years, Avi has served as a tv and radio legal analyst discussing various legal topics. He did daily on-air television commentary during the Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey trials.
