Chinese courts have made the curious ruling that adultery is not reason to file for divorce. We don’t have this problem in Wisconsin. We are a no-fault divorce state, which means that neither spouse must prove that the other has done something wrong. The only grounds for divorce necessary are one spouse testifying under oath that they believe the marriage is irretrievably broken.
