Sue Stahl began working with Peterson, Berk & Cross, S.C. in 2018 as a paralegal in the personal injury section. She currently works with managing partner, Amy Risseeuw.
Upon graduation from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, Sue started her career as a paralegal at a law firm in Milwaukee. While in school, Sue always enjoyed her classes that had to do with law but wasn’t sure what she wanted to do in her career moving forward. When she was younger, she worked as a babysitter and as a library shelf-reader. Some might say those early work experiences were good preparation for her future job. Sue’s start at a law firm began on a whim, when her sister-in-law dropped off a resume on Sue’s behalf at a career fair. That career fair led to her first job at a law firm. Sue has enjoyed honing her paralegal skills and helping clients ever since.
As a mother of three, Sue loves spending time with her family. One of her favorite memories from the past year was getting together with a group of extended family “up North” after the pandemic had kept them apart for so long.
When not working, Sue loves to attend concerts, cheer on the Milwaukee Brewers, read and travel. One of her favorite trips was a visit to Ireland in 2000 where she made some new friends, got engaged and met Bono of U2!
Sue has been an amazing addition to the Peterson, Berk & Cross, S.C. team. She’s known around the office for her kind demeanor, quick wit, focus on her work and the Racine Kringles she shares with office every now and again.
