Amoreena Petersen began working with Peterson, Berk & Cross, S.C. in 2019 as a paralegal in the family law section. She currently works with attorney Stacy Schlemmer, assisting with divorces, legal separations, paternity actions, custody and placement issues and child support.
Amoreena worked as a dispatcher for many years, before she decided she needed to make a career shift. Upon graduation from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College with an associate degree in paralegal studies, she began working at a law firm, and eventually landed at Peterson, Berk & Cross, S.C. in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Amoreena truly enjoys her work as a paralegal and looks forward to learning more about her field. She says, “I still have so much to learn. I make small accomplishments every day.”
Outside of work, Amoreena enjoys dining out, reading, spending time with her friends and family and watching true crime TV, like Dateline. Traveling is also a passion. She recently enjoyed a vacation to Denver, Colorado. She also studied abroad in Barcelona, where she loved learning about their culture.
Amoreena adds a vibrancy to our offices in Appleton and Green Bay. She has a zest for life and loves to keep busy. She adds a great energy to our team.

Meghan Petters has been with Peterson, Berk & Cross, S.C. for over 15 years. She spent much of her time as a family law paralegal but has also been managing the firm’s social media platforms for many years. Prior to joining the firm, Meghan had a background in communications. She currently serves as the firm’s Social Media and Marketing Manager.
