Carissa joined Peterson, Berk & Cross, S.C. in 2025. She focuses her practice on family law, including divorce, legal separation, paternity, maintenance, child support, custody, and placement.
Carissa graduated from University of Wisconsin Law School a semester early with academic honors. During law school, Carissa participated in several school organizations including Mock Trial, Children’s Justice Project, the Public Interest Law Foundation, and more. Carissa served as a committee chair for the Jackie Macaulay Auction at the law school, helping to raise funds to support students pursuing volunteer or low-paying public interest summer jobs.
As an Appleton native, Carissa enjoys supporting the local music, restaurants, and shops in the Fox Valley during her free time. She also enjoys camping and hiking with her dog and her husband, reading, and crocheting.
