AMY RISSEEUW BECOMES ABOTA MEMBER

On behalf of Peterson, Berk & Cross, S.C.

Personal injury lawyer and managing partner of Peterson, Berk & Cross, S.C., Amy Risseeuw, has been accepted into the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). ABOTA dedicates itself to the preservation and promotion of the Seventh Amendment, which guarantees the right to civil jury trials. Members in this invitation-only group must have tried a minimum of 10 civil jury trials to conclusion. In addition, members have to be nominated and then approved by 75% of the voting members in an election meeting. There are 84 attorneys in the Wisconsin ABOTA Chapter.

“ABOTA is a very select group of skilled advocates who also must maintain the highest degree of ethical and professional conduct.  The ABOTA membership includes plaintiff and defense attorneys, stressing the importance of a civil demeanor while on opposing sides of a case.  It is a great honor for Attorney Risseeuw to join me in this group and I am proud to see her accomplishments recognized by her peers and adversaries.”  Attorney Avram D.
