The Wisconsin Lawyer Assistance Program (WisLAP) has posted a video on YouTube (embedded below), which describes the WisLAP program. As stated at WisLAP’s website:
The Wisconsin Lawyers Assistance Program (WisLAP) provides confidential assistance to help lawyers, judges, law students, and their families cope with problems related to the stress of practicing law.
PBC Attorney Michael Brown is a volunteer with WisLAP, and is happy to discuss the program with anyone who wants more information about it.
PBC Atty. Michael Brown Starts Term As Chair of Bar’s IRR Section
PBC Attorney Michael Brown became Board Chair of the Wisconsin State Bar’s Individual Rights & Responsibilities Section (IRR), effective July 1, 2010, for the term ending June 30, 2011. IRR had its first Board meeting on July 30, 2010.
IRR’s members include attorneys with interests in civil liberties and constitutional rights. The section presents various programs, publishes a newsletter and initiates and reviews legislative proposals in areas of concern to members.
